I picked up an SCXXL today!!! 1st impression is very good! I have T1's for fronts and the XXL seems to be tuned to these. Dialog is more dominant without being overbearing. Noticeably bigger sound stage and bass spreads across the soundstage similar to a THX movie theater. More to come:)

Congrats Danny...if possible, could you please take a picture of the back of the SC XXL? Wanting to see where the speaker binding posts are located. Can't wait for your thoughts/impressions after the break-in process occurs.

Hi T Cobe, Yes I am replacing an SCXL with the SCXXL. I listened to a few movie tracks today. WOW the addition of the LF radiator is VERY noticeable. Bass jumps out at you from behind the TV!! Center channel is more defined and seems to just blend with the T1's. It is becoming clear the XXL is tuned for the T1's (IMHO). I am hearing a few things behind me that were not obvious before? I guess the additional mid/bass drivers and T1 crossover project sound much better and blend with the (4)SS3's I have for all rear channels. I am very happy so far!!! It seems the entire system has become in sync??? I am not using the YPAO settings on the Yamaha.

Sorry Anthem, Haven't had time to slide the xxxl out and get a pic. I can tell you looking from the front of the speaker the binding posts are 4 inches off center to the right. (that's measuring to the middle of the two binding posts to the middle of the speaker).
