Hi Wayne and I think it appropriate to say Happy Birthday:) I will pull it back out and take a pic for you tomorrow with a tape measure so you can see exactly where the posts are. The posts are not in center. They are 12 inches from the front right edge. I had to change a cable, my center channel cable is only 1m long and the XPA-1L is located on the for left of my shelf?? Anyway it sounds fantastic, read my response to T Cobes question. The improvements in the XXL REALLY makes a difference. Whole system(meaning SS) is in sync now. Entire room is full of sound. Its almost like adding side speakers?? Huge difference in SS. I am running without the Yamaha YPAO correction. The T1 sub knob is at 10 o'clock position. I am VERY happy with it so far. Great job by GET!!!!!

Enjoy,
DT

DT,

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds very promising!! What do you have the crossover frequency set at? Is the SCXXL as clear and detailed as the T1s? As much depth in the sound? I look forward to experiencing the difference first hand. Looking forward to you pics as well. Happy listening!

Cheers,

T Cobe

Hi, Splash51

Sounds fantastic. What crossover are you using on the SCXXL, and is it different than what you had for the XL? I have my XL crossover at 60HZ, and can't wait to listen to an XXL.

Happy listening!

Wow, I would have thought that some of the sound improvements you were hearing were due to the reconfiguration using room correction software. But it seems that no setting have changed with respect to the SCXL, including crossover. That's interesting!

Hi Rick, I just physically swapped the SCXL for the SCXXL without any other changes for an AB comparison. I had the bass crossover set to 110. Still a big difference in spatial effect of the bass and detail of mid and highs were like a new system!! I have changed the setup on my receiver. Center channel is set to large and bass crossover is now 80. This is even better. The most noticeable difference so far is the mids and highs have a punch that was not there before at this volume level. Even at higher levels the clarity was not as clean as it is now. The XXL sounds more like the T1s in this respect. It is kinda like having a T1 without subs as a center channel. I will post pictures later this afternoon. I can only imagine how this will improve as it gets broken in!!!

Enjoy!!
