Class D are still tricky,
They can sound ok or amazing, depending on which brand and modules used.

Rogue is my favorite with Tritons (full disclosure- I am a dealer)
Great tube mids and control with the Sphinx and especially the Pharaoh, Cronus Manum II has less bass, but is my fav amp for Tritons for under $2500 or less, and I have heard many with the Ones.

Peachtree sounds pretty good, but not great as the tube buffer is mostly for looks.
Emotiva does not do it for me at all, not as much 3D with presentation, too fatiguing and not warm enough in the mids,
depends on what you like of course.

Hegel is a great choice for SS design, but gets expensive.
Good times, good wine, and great music !!

You must have had better luck than I did with Emotiva. I tried those monoblocks and hated them with the T1s. I ended up with a Rogue Audio stereo 100. Just as awesome as the M-180s but a couple grand less.

I have some emotivea gear including the xpa 1s, but I use them for my Ht setup, not with my T1s, but with Focal electras. They do the trick, but my bryston is purely 2 channel with the T1s.

Winefix,
You sold your Triton Ones IF I remember correctly. But are back here trying to sell Rogue.
I do appreciate the full disclosure, thanks for that.
God Bless,
Wayne

Wayne,

To answer your question, I chimed in because I received an auto-Email on the topic since I was included originally.

1) I still own some GE products and reccomend them to customers as well (just helped set up a pair of 7's in August)
even though I do not sell GE or profit from them whatsoever.
That should tell you something.

2) I am happy to offer my experience / opinion on amps for Tritons, as I know what to look / listen for, and being in the business, allows me to demo (play with !!) many pieces of Audiophile equipment.
In the same demo theater, I have heard the following with the the Tritons: Pass, Classe, Hegel, Peachtree, Emotiva, Denon, Mcintosh, Ayre, and of course Rogue. (which I rep)

Best,

TJ
Good times, good wine, and great music !!

I just found this topic & wanted to share my experience. I am using a Bryston 4bsst2 and it sounds silky smooth with my T1's. I recently got a OPPO 105d connected directly to the Bryston using 2 channel analog xlr connections. I am upgrading the xlr cables with Better Cables Serpeant. I trust it will be a big improvement over the generic xlr's I have been using. I have been listening to allot of 2 channel high res jazz & the direct connection to the Oppo from the Bryston sounds much better then connections through my HT Onkyo processor. I now only use the Onkyo for surround sound for movies.

I am toying with the idea of inserting a class A preamp between the Bryston & OPPO. Not sure if I can hear any difference compared to the Oppo 105d. Looking at a Bryston BP26 or BP17. Going to the TAVES (Toronto Audio Video Entertainment Show) next week show will have an opportunity to listen to different products.
