Well done! The Triton Ones deserve a good clean signal and power.

Thank you Wayne. The system does sound phenomenal. I had the Carver amp completely rebuilt with upgraded capacitors etc. so it puts out 600 watts RMS per channel about 4 months ago. There is absolutely no noise in the amp now, just clean music.

Hi all

Just got my Triton One's with a Peachtree Audio 220SE.

The system has only been playing for around 20 hours but I'm already lovin it !

It's set up in a small temporary room - and yes I know the Tritons are close to the walls lol. But they'll be moving to a larger room eventually.

Photo attached.

I'm new to this forum but I'm looking forward to sharing the experience with others :-)

EM84,

Welcome to the forum! Great choice in equipment. Regardless of room size, I bet it sounds great. Are you using your Oppo as the CD player?

Giving the T1s a little more room to breathe won't hurt but it sounds like that will work itself out in due time. In the meantime, the only recommendation I would provide is to play with the toe in angle. You may get a tad better imaging with the towers pointed directly at your primary listening position.

What else do you use their room for; gaming, home theater, etc? Any plans for surround sound or additional upgrades? Looks like a nice man cave. I look forward to hearing and seeing more. Congrats on the purchase! I've had my T1s for a few months and they still blow me away. Make sure you budget for some music to play on your new setup. Digital music is great but the T1s will reward you for seeking out some high quality recordings on disc. Happy listening!

Cheers,

T Cobe

Hi EM84 and welcome to the forum and the wonderful world of GEt ownership/fine music listening!!!!
Nice pics of a very nice room and setup!!!!
That does not look like a man cave to me, looks like you have someone doing your decorating!!!!!
T. Cobe has given some good suggestions and asked some good questions.
I am looking forward to hearing from you what you hear with the Triton Ones and Peachtree?
I am betting it will be a REALLY sweet sounding system!
I agree with T. that you need to feed a real high quality signal to such a wonderful, revealing system, but I don't think it necessarily needs to be albums or even analog. But hi-res recordings of one sort or another will pay big dividends because you will be able to hear the difference with such great speakers.
Oh, heck, just put on some music and enjoy!!!!!! And don't be a stranger here,
Happy listening, God Bless,
Wayne
