Thanks T. Cobe, the BBQ is from my wife, not from Bro Anthem. He is sending me AntiCables for Christmas.
Funny, I am watching some crazy Kung Fu movie now, not a word of English except in the subtitles, Chinese story, and I cannot make
heads or tails of it.
I will not report on it because I definitely will NOT finish it.
Oh, YES, we can BBQ here year round and we DO!!!!!!
I would enjoy hearing about your trip, if you have time and want to tell.
God Bless,
Wayne

A Disney Musical, "Into the Woods" with Meryl Streep, who I cannot stand. And I cannot stand musicals either, what in the world am I doing watching this crap??????
PQ is really good, and SQ by way of DTS-HD MA 7.1 is really good. IF you can stand all the singing.
Like most Disney there is a pretty good message.
It is a little dark for children, and way to singy for me, but I guess I would recommend it. Barely.
God Bless,
Wayne

Delightful.
Watched Hairspray, starring Nikki Blonsky, John Travolta (John is hilarious), Christopher Walken, Amanda Bynes, and Michelle Pfeiffer. It's a feel good movie where you can't wait for the next song...absolutely loved it.

its 1962 and change is in the air in Baltimore. Tracy turnbald, a girl with big hair and big dreams, has only one passion in life, to dance on the Corny Collins show. When her chance arrives, she grooves her way into instant stardom, and the eyes of team dream Link Larkin. But with the programs scheming stage manager against her, trendsetting Tracy will need the help of her best friend Penny, her big hearted mother and sassy cohost motormouth Maybelle to show the world that all it takes to make a dream come true is a toe tapping beat and a little HAIRSPRAY!!

PQ was quite good. SQ is by way of 5.1 Dolby EX...exquisite.

Had a wonderful time...a most Highly Recommended film.

Wayne: if you haven't seen it, check it out...a glorious romp.

Wayne: now this is a Musical!
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Well, just to clarify, this is an award winning Stephen Sondheim musical that Disney made into a movie. It is pretty dark. Not a happy ending by any stretch but the message is pretty strong.

Good point Imahawki,
This just might be someone's cup o tea.
BUT
I don't like musicals, period!!!!!
I don't like Sondheim either, so it was all I could do to get through it.
YMMV.
God Bless,
Wayne

Musicals can be a mixed bag for me. I like musicals with actual spoken dialogue such as Grease and Pitch Perfect. I can't stand musicals that sing every line. Best example of that to me was Evita. That's the only movie I've ever walked out of the theater during... I'm with you on Meryl Streep too, Wayne. I'm just not a fan. The rest of the cast looked decent and Disney usually does pretty solid films but I was on the fence on this one. The reviews here certainly haven't convinced to to invest the time. Maybe when it comes to HBO...

Wayne, I'll try to post a bit about my trip and include some pics later this weekend or next week. We're still getting our pictures together and recovering from the trip. It was a great time but the worst travel experience we've ever had: getting to and from Italy. We spent time in Rome, Florence, Venice, and Sorrento. It was a fast paced, guided tour which got annoying at times but it saved us a lot of planning, driving, and waiting in lines. We were also able to see a lot more in a shorter period of time.

Cheers,

T Cobe
