This is a follow up to my recent post for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. This time added the album cover.

Even though it has flaws and not as good as The Force Awakens, it's still another Star Wars movie.

All,
Last week I tried to buy tickets to the Avengers: Infinity War. on Monday, sneak preview was Thursday. Most were sold out Thursday and Friday and my good seats were not available Saturday or Sunday so I went yesterday - Tuesday.

If your a MCU fan (Marvel Cinematic Universe) this is a must see movie. Here are my ratings:

Overall: 4 out of 5 stars
Acting: 4 out of 5 stars
Directing: 4 our of 5 stars
Computer Graphics 5 out of 5 stars
Video Quality: 4.75 stars out of 5
Audio quality: 5 out of 5 stars
Enjoyment & Fun Factor 4.5 out of 5 stars.

This movie ranks with Black Panther as the two best pictures I have seen this year. Both are must see movies. Based upon last years movies, I would put Wonder Women and Dunkik ahead of Avengers: Infinity War. However, it's a great movie, 156 minutes long.

This will be a great demo movie if you have a 5.1.2 or 5.1.4 or 5.1.2 or 7.1 or 7.2.2 HT system.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I am looking for that Avengers Infinity War to try in my home theater.

Tonight I watched "Blood Father" an older movie, Mel Gibson protects his "little girl" who ran away and got in trouble.
PQ was alright, SQ was only 5.1 but pretty good, added to the movie.
I can relate to gotta take care of your little girl movies. There was a lot of language in this one.
But RECOMMENDED, not hi brow stuff, but medium good entertainment.
God Bless,
Wayne

Just a note to say we gave up on "ZNation". It was childish, seemed to be written by high school kids. The acting was terrible, the PQ abominable, the SQ horrible.
No, we did NOT like it.
Back to watching season 8 of "The Walking Dead". We are trying to stream it, more on that in a post of its own. Also trying to watch "Lethal Weapon Season 2" which I really enjoy. BUT we are trying to stream that too.
I have to have the A/C on in the home theater all the time now, it is HOTTER than a cheap pistol here!!!!
Mo later.
God Bless,
Wayne

Just recently got and played a 2nd BeeGees Blu-ray, "One for All Tour", Live in Australia 1989. This edition has been re mixed and re mastered. The recording I already had was "One Night Only" from 1997.

The remastered "One for All Tour" makes better use of surround, but both are good . "One Night Only" doesn't make much use of the center channel, but the Ref's sound stage is so big and wide with spot on center fill, that the only way I can tell the voices are coming exclusively from the fronts is to walk right up to the center.... it's not playing. But sit at the PLP, and it sounds like a gorgeous center channel just HAS to be playing!

SQ is good on both, probably 4-4.5/5. PQ is good, not exceptional.

Robin had a full head of hair in the 1989 recording. :)

For any BeeGees fans, either Blu-ray is worth having. Surround sure brings the concert home. Beats any CD versions I've heard.

Recommended.

Rick

Edit: I just played a number of the songs from "One for All Tour" at closer to concert SL's. First listen was at upper's 70's db's where I often listen. Wow. At 90+ db's dynamics blossomed, bass slam got amazing. Wayne and Anthem, my apologies. You keep reminding us that the GEt's LOVE playing loud. Well, at 90 ish db's.this Blu-ray rocks! Highly recommended to get you to the concert!
5.4.4 HT speakers: T Ref fronts/LFE 1, SuperCenter Ref, T1 surrounds/LFE 2 + SuperSub XXL, HTR 7000 top fronts, HTR 8000 top rears

AVR: Marantz SR 8015
Amp: AT525NC 5 channel
