Pulled the trigger on the references and love them. Now I need a streamer, leaning towards the moon 280D or the Aurender A100

I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. Can't help with the streamer issue as I still don't stream. I steam a little whenever someone in the government (any party) does something stupid.

I am using Blusound Node 2i, very easy to install and works great.

Are you running an external dac? I tried the cxn v2 and NAD C658 so far. Found differences in them i liked and disliked. So hoping i can find one with the best of both and more so going up the $ chain chasing it. From the reviews i read the bluos 2i did not have as expansive a sound stage as the cxn v2, but perhaps with a good external dac it would.

I am running a dedicated streamer (Auralic Aires G2) with an external DAC/Pre (DSPeaker Anti-Mode X4). I have listened to very few combinations of streamers and DACs, so I am by no means an expert on these things. I can say that changing from using my Oppo 105D as a streamer to the Auralic made a big improvement in the sound. So streamers can matter. How streamers rank in the overall sound of your system will most likely depend on how all of your components work together and how transparent your system is.

The trick is finding a good one you can afford. There are a lot of reviews out there, and you might take a look at the Stereophile Recommended Components list and see what you can find there. You can easily find that online.

I’m a strong believer of Golden Ear triton speaker. I have the T2 since 2013 and just last week pulled the trigger on the T1.R. Just received it 3 days ago and it’s in the process of breaking in. Performance of the T1.R floored me. I thought my T2 was good but after listening to the T1.R, I’m speechless. Especially, for the price. I’m delighted with my purchase. Keep up the good work Mr. Gross.
