I'm 99% sure I will be purchasing the Reference as soon as the dealers receive them. Moderator: do you know when they are to start shipping the Reference? I will put them in my main 2 channel only system. My electronics (amp, pre and sources) are more than worthy of such a speaker. I will take my Triton Ones I have in the system now and move them upstairs to my secondary 2 channel system. I will sell the Triton 2 which are in the secondary system now. I figure that once I sell the Triton 2 speakers, I will outlay around 7K plus 7% sales tax.

Not to bud in, but I heard Sandy say May shipping.

As a fairly new owner of the T1's (late July 2016)...I am eager to read your findings. I am kind of miffed that I didn't foresee this coming as Sandy said there will be no Triton One plus....I always want the best. Don't we all? Doubt my dealer would do a trade up thing. Wish GE would offer that as some promotion.
