Hey DGA,
WOW!!!!!
I am truly impressed Dude!!!!!!!
What a beautiful minimalist approach!!!!!
Everything you need for great sound right there.
I mean, minimal, even the picture frame doesn't have a picture in it!!!! Or maybe it is a mirror.
Great setup, wonderful, thanks for sharing. It must sound awesome!!!!
Happy listening,
God bless,
Wayne

DGA and Charlie, I really enjoyed the pics, thanks so much!!!!!
Charlie, love that black and white and shades of gray!!!! Made me laugh.
I hope you get them dialed in soon. I can say that DIRAC does help, sometimes a LOT. It is a bit fiddly to get used to and to use.
DGA, your amp reminded me of my old Dynaco ST-70. I see your Gold Lion tubes, love that brand. But I see the name of your amp is ST- 120 but it looks like you are using KT-88s? I hear the KT-120s are more powerful and have more bass, but the 88s have plenty of power for me and sound wonderful.
Interesting posts guys!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne

The Latino ST120's chassis is the size and shape of the Dynaco ST70 to provide a retro look. That's where the similarity ends. The transformers, caps and pretty much everything else is upgraded, so it sounds nothing like the old Dynaco. I'd say peformance is similar to the Mac275, which I had in my system for a short time. This one replaced a Parasond A21. If you like the tube sound, you can't beat the value. The combination of the hi tech Tritons and 50's tech ST make an amazing combination.

Thanks for the pics. A dealer delivered mine since I didn't have a vehicle large enough, but they didn't have the extra outer packing boxes (+ rubber bands?) and protection like yours, just the "inner" cardboard box. Maybe they took the extra packaging off at the store? The boxes that arrived seemed to be factory sealed. Just seems odd now seeing yours that they wouldn't have transported them here with the extra protection in place, especially for speakers at this price point. How did others take delivery/pickup of their TRefs? Maybe my experience is normal? (or do dealers need to be educated?)
