OK, GDHAL, Pbgalvin and any others who get their hands (and ears!) on T ref's first, tell us more about what it's like!!!

My first chance is Sept after getting back from NH. And the reviews and member comments are SO enticing. .

Keep the feedback and comments coming!

Hey Bro Rick,
Have a great summer up in the wild NE.
Better you than me. I could not leave my babies and the South to go up there. But you obviously have some great things to look forward to up there that will take you mind off great music.
Enjoy!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne

Thanks, Wayne!

The hardest part is leaving my GEt babies behind. I've been "dosing up" the last few days, playing lots of favorite music to keep it fresh in my mind. Headphones for the summer (maybe someday GEt headphones) :) .

Rick

Added note: we have one son and family in TX, and another son and family in NY, so we catch up on the NY family visits in the summer, plus relatives in MA, ME. If both sons and families were in TX, would no doubt do things differently.. maybe just a short trip North to visit relatives...

Sorry this is off topic, don't anybody burn their brand new References when they get them!!

OK, this one is to Bro Rick, perhaps only a Texan can understand this, and maybe then not even.
I ordered and finally rec'd some black, smoked salt from Amazon. It is Alderwood smoked (I was gonna get Cherry but they were out and Alderwood makes some great guitars) and smells and tastes like a BBQ.
First use, tonight, I ground some on my cantaloupe and it was AWESOME tasting!!!
Oh the joys of anything having anything to do with BBQ, no matter how far we stretch it. Ha ha
God Bless,
Wayne

Hey, Wayne

As the local bumper stickers say, "I wasn't born in TX, but I got here as soon as I could"! :)

Black, smoked salt... gotta' try me some. Do you suppose it will work even in NH???? On cantaloupe sounds great also!

P.S. I won't forget about my Thailand friend/"son" :) this summer.. Don't forget, next time you get to TX, let me know...maybe there'll be some new speakers and amps just waiting to be heard by then.. .

Have a great summer, all. I'll stay connected to the forum, even though I'll have to listen to every music recommendation on headphones only, and collect discs to bring back to hear on a REAL system.

Happy listening!

Rick
