Well bro how's it looking...plane ride in the morning? Told the wife about your circumstance, said she would pray for you.

Wishing you all the best :)

Thanks Bro Anthem,
I always need prayers, but today is better and I am hoping to be able to walk on the plane tomorrow.
IF not, I will get them to wheel me on, I am not proud!!!! ha ha
Staying on topic, lazing around and not doing anything, being down in the back, watched a blu-ray last night and two blu-rays today:
"Dead Man Down" and "Now Is Good"
Both were slow and pretty boring IMHO. (In both movies people had to die, and they took WAY too long to do it!!!!)
I had to say though, that new movies have sound track songs that I have never heard before and I really enjoyed them on both movies.
The best in that department lately was last night's "Getaway" which is a driving around and driving some more movie.
It had a souped up Shelby Cobra (don't ask me about cars) which was the star of the movie.
This was a truly poor attempt at making an exciting movie. The sounds were fine though and when they played songs for the theme music (you can just listen to engine noises and road driving and cars crashing noises so much) through my Triton 2s the sound was absolutely awesome!!!!!
Made me wonder, who sings this, who sang that?????
Sorry I cannot recommend any of these movies.
Blessings,
Wayne

Just watched "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" on Blu-ray.
It is a Ben Stiller film, starring, surprisingly, Ben Stiller.
But actually, the most surprising thing is that this film is rather grown-up for him.
I do not really know the J. Thurber story, and doubt that this modern version is very true to the story, but the gist could well be there, Thurberesque, we might say.
But on to the film, the picture quality is delicious, some of the scenery is breathtaking. He takes us on a bit of an improbable ride.
The payoff is quite warm and feel good stuff.
This ain't Tolstoy folks.
Surroundsound is fine, not much stands out in my mind except for the songs during the movie and especially in the credits. The sound quality there is great!!!! Some of this score is just really good music by Jose Gonzalez (NO, I am not makin' this stuff up)!!!!
Don't get this movie to show off, demonstrate your home theater sound system. But get it if you want a feel good, goes well with popcorn movie with good music.
God Bless,
Wayne

Last night the wife and I watched Frozen....we really enjoyed it. Olaf stole the show...I would like to put this in my one in my collection.
This morning we watched Twelve Years a Slave...we enjoyed it. Man's pridefull, selfish, self righteous, sinful arrogance on display. If you are truly saved, you'll know what I'm saying. Thumbs up!!

Just saw "Southland Tales".
Don't
Waste
Your
Tiime
Lots of good actors, should have been good. Sucked.
And it talked about that as much or more than anything else.
Sorry,
God Bless,
Wayne

Wayne...you remind me of my wife...she's been buying stuff off the 10 cent table at garage/yard sales too...ha-ha.
I'll take your advice & stay away from this one. ;)
