Thanks Moderator Dude,
I am glad I am not the only one who thinks that. I love the sound on Blu-rays, concerts in particular.
I could accept them as THE hirez music standard.
Happy watching and listening.
God Bless,
Wayne

One of my demo standards when I show off my system to rock-loving visitors is a music BluRay, "Jeff Beck: Performing This Week... Live at Ronnie Scott's" [Blu-ray] (2009). It will knock you out!

Wayne: never heard of Bollywood movies so looked up the 2013 list...bunch of crap. Twelve Years a Slave looks interesting, might give it a try one of these weekends. American Hustle, I've seen the trailer numerous times, looks to be a little raunchy... I'll pass for the time being. Your assessment of Hollywood's agendas is pretty much dead on...little if anything good comes out of Hollywood, and truth be told, it's only going to get worse.

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Hey guys, OK if we steer off the negative here and focus on great sounding/looking movies, and/or movies we really enjoyed?

There have been a lot of spectacular movies that I have enjoyed from "Hollywood", certainly a few every year, and I bet I'm not alone (look at the revenues). Its easy to ignore the politics and enjoy the fantasy of film - even if its a reality film. Save the "their agenda" stuff for your other forums, please. Thanks.
