WOW, turn it up!!!!!
Barenboim and the Berliner Philharmoniker on Blu-ray playing Wagner, Elgar and Brahms.
Alisa Weilerstein on the Elgar Cello Concerto is AWESOME.
The pic and sound quality and the performance is to die for here folks.
I cannot recommend this more highly.
The Cello and orchestra played on the Triton 2s is convincing, REAL, moving, something you just have to hear/feel/experience for yourself. WOW!!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne

Not a Blu-Ray, but a great DVD! Beautiful setting, fantastic music. Oh ya, and the pretty ladies did nod not hurt the experience either.
The speakers just seemed to disappear providing a wall of sound.

The wife and I got a chance to see Nebraska last night, starring Bruce Durn & Will Forte. It's the adventure of a cantankerous old man and his family who leave Montana to go to Nebraska in pursuit of a million dollar sweepstakes prize. Black and white picture with a 3.0 DTS soundtrack. The wife and I really enjoyed it.

That Cantankerous old man was NOT me!!!! I was young the last time I went to Nebraska.

Saw that offered on the plane tonight, will have to check it out. Black and white and 3.0, does not sound like home theater fair.
But could help pass a miserable coupla hours on the plane when i can't sleep.

What I did watch was All is Lost, TERRIBLE, MISERABLE stuff. Not my tall glass of iced tea anyway.
Thanks, God Bless,
Wayne

Joe Bonamassa "Live from New York at the Beacon Theater"
On blu-ray the sound and pic are awesome.
This is some really good blues. Some good guests including Beth Hart.
But she does not sing the cover "I'd Rather Go Blind" which is my favorite. Get their "Don't Explain" to hear some wonderful music!!!!
The only thing against this concert is actually watching Joe play and sing, he just is does not LOOK like the Blues Man that he is.

Try it out, you may love it. I just like it a LOT.
God Bless, Wayne
