Thanks Bro T. I am not a fan but can enjoy a good scary movie every once in a while. Usually they are just a good laugh.
God Bless,

OK, tonight I watched a movie called "Heist" or sometimes called "Bus 657".
It was better than expected, started off slow but got better.
PQ was grainy, not good.
SQ was only 5.1 and just alright. Nothing special.
But it was the best movie I have watched in a while, sad to say.
Recommended entertainment.
God Bless,
Wayne

I'm catching up on the "not watched yet" pile.

Just finished watching The magnificent Seven. Good story line, SQ really good, especially fight scenes, explosions, bullets whizzing by, etc. Realistic, with chest thumping bass. I'd use this as a demo disc anytime. There was one scene where the gunfight, dynamite explosions etc. was coming from the front AND back. The T2 surrounds were cranking! Reminded me some of one of the tank battle scenes in Fury, SQ immersion-wise. That's saying something!

Recommended.

Rick:
Yup...Magnificent Seven was a decent movie. The Blu-ray looked much better than our Warren Theater in Wichita. Sound was top notch. Chris Pratt stole the show...funny dude.

Good movie! Sound, picture, and entertainment all at 4.5/5. The movie is well written and captures a wide range of human emotion. Tom Hanks is great as always. The picture was very detailed and the color a bit on the cool side. Though this was not an action film, there was good use of surround sound and a fair amount of LFE. Dialogue was mostly clear and there were good dynamics when the scenes required it. A definite recommendation.

Cheers,

T Cobe

You guys are making me want to buy some new movies. Will be a while, so I am getting my wife and the girlie to watch some older good ones that they have missed.
We recently watched Die Hard 4.0, True Lies, Flight of the Phoenix, and Captain Phillips.
All good entertainment.
Catching up on my Game of Thrones.
God Bless,
Wayne
