OK, watched "Legend" last night, based on the true life story of twins, BOTH played magnificently by Tom Hardy!!!! The love interest was also played wonderfully by Emily Browning.
The acting was great, the picture superb, especially considering the technical side of him playing both parts, AMAZING!!!!
The sound was OK, but disappointing, several songs you know, Duffy sings live in a club a few times, but nothing notable, IMHO.
The story is well written about real life SCUMBAGS!!!!! All the characters smoke non-stop, Hollywood is really trying to sell kids on smoking IMHO!!!!!
Horrible people, hard to watch, talk about a DARK story.
Not RECOMMENDED except for great acting/film work. And I just HATE the British accent, especially London, East End.
God Bless,
Wayne

The movie is quite PC, the PQ is OK, not great.
The SQ is not noticeable.
Your wife will like this movie, so you best watch it with her.
I would say something good, but it would be a spoiler, so won't.
It is just sooooo durn terrible if this is how dysfunctional so many families have become, God help us!!!!
I cannot recommend it, but cannot say anything against it either, I don't like to sleep on the sofa.
God Bless,
Wayne

Independence Day: Resurgence takes place 20 years after the defeat of the initial alien invasion. The movie incorporates many of the old characters along with new main characters. They weave in the previous story line with the new quite well also. The story and cast work well and the flow of the film is quite good; however, the dialogue isn't as witty and there doesn't seem to be as much chemistry between the cast as in the original. 4/5 from an entertainment standpoint.
SQ and PQ were also both a 4/5. There was a lot of action, LFE, surround effects, and CGI. Picture detail, color, and contrast were good. While there are no glaring deficiencies, nothing really stands out either.
The original film had a clean ending that could have stood without a sequel. Nostalgia will no doubt have people saying this falls short of the original. While there are a few issues with the plot and the dialogue/chemistry is a bit lacking, this is still a good popcorn movie.
Cheers,
T Cobe

We watched "Capt. America, Civil War" tonight. BORING!!!!!!!!
I could not get into all the in-fighting at all.
Could not tell you about PQ or SQ because I could not wait for it to be over.
YMMV.
With the new Triton Ones in place, I did watch 007, "Spectre" last night, as I just could not wait to hear what they might do for surround sound with a movie. Now, things are not really set up correctly, got to reset all the distances after placing the Ones in the front, the SC X still in the center, but the T 2s went to surround positions (not far enough back yet) and T 3s to the rear surrounds. The Ones and T 2s are on LFE inputs, but not for the T 3s. Still there are all those bass drivers (and radiators) in the Ones, the Twos and the Threes, before the FF5 sub even kicks in. WOW!!!!!
All I can say is, I have never enjoyed a movie so much in my home theater before, and I have seen this one at least 3 times already!!!!! The opening Day of the Dead almost scared me with so powerful bass!!!!!
Guys, this is the way to watch movies, BASS!!!!!!!
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, Wayne
I just told my wife I'm totally happy with my new 5.2.4 set-up, including the bass I hear from T1/T2 LFE connections.
But, I'll be VERY interested in your observations about T1/T2 (T3?) plus FF5 bass combo's you now have. I have heard the SSXXL, and I know it reaches deep, really, really deep. It seems your set-up reaches REAL deep also... should a a SSXXL or FF5 be on my wish list? I'm a bass head also, and am amazed at the bass I can get from the T1/T2/LFE combo. BUT... I'll be checking your comments about your newT1/T2 combo that adds a GEt sub also... never say never...
I am so happy that you are expanding your HT system and loving it! Keep us posted!

Chris Pratt was the star of the show...the guy is a Hoot.
Lots of bullets, lots of dead bodies.
Couldn't ask for more.
Highly recommended
Every great performance deserves an Audience!
