Saw " Everything Must Go" a couple of weeks ago...Agreed... it really was a "Good Watch".
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Boys and Girls,
I've watched two Blu-rays to report on, I only do this for you guys, you know.
The first is "Belle", an interesting period piece. It is actually based on a true story and true history.
PQ is alright, and SQ was DTS-HD MA 5.1 I believe, not bad, but not interesting either.
This story is the about beginning of the end of slave trade in Britan. Recommended. But not reference in any way.
Then I watched "Let's be Cops".
PQ was fine, SQ with DTS-HD MA 5.1 sound was just OK, nothing special or noteworthy.
Problem is, I kept looking around in my home theater to see if anybody else saw me there, watching this HORRIBLE POS movie????
LAME to the max, but, alright I will admit that IF you can stick with it to the very end, it got a little bit better. The two dudes were not noteworthy IMHO, but the love interest is Nina Dobrev, which adds a little interest to the movie.
NOT Recommended.
God Bless,
Wayne

Hey Uncle Wayne: Maybe it's time for a new hobby ...2-channel Jazz perhaps?

You know Wayne, variety is the spice of life! Everyone could use some quality stereo music regularly...

Let's Be Cops is a typical stoner comedy. There were a few funny parts but it does make you feel like you may be killing brain cells by watching it. The hardware store break in was hilarious. I have not seen Belle but will have to check it out. I enjoy a good period drama.

Cheers,

Toby

Thanks T Cobe,
NOPE, I listen to LOTS of great music, not that much of it is Poor Old Stereo, POS, but I can enjoy that too. But none of it is Jazz or likely to be Jazz any day soon, but to each his own.
But I do know how to enjoy silly movies.
Watching "22 Jumpstreet" tonight, and it is everything that last night's debacle should have been and wasn't. IMHO.
PQ is fine, SQ with DTS-HD MA 5.1 is good too. but REALLY not reference quality. AT ALL.
But it does have Amber Stevens in this movie, AND it is funny and cute, a pretty good buddy movie.
Recommended just for silly/fun entertainment. And the music in the movie sounds pretty cool!
Some good laughs. Lots of bad language, put the kids to bed.
God Bless,
Wayne
