I thought this trailer was funny. I saw it after I had watched Interstellar. I didn't think the movie was "as bad" as the trailer makes it out but it is funny!

Cheers,

T Cobe

T Cobe, that is sooooo funny and I am sorry, but it was Right On!!!!
I don't mind a willing suspension of disbelief and science fiction does not have to be the absolute best science in the world, but I found the science to be crap and the message even crappier. Just my humble opinion of course.
Thanks for that!
I am just happy someone is reading my reviews.
Thanks, God Bless,
Wayne

YES, I have been catching up on watching movies lately.
"The Judge" stars Rober Downey Jr. as an obnoxious, self-absorbed, cocky, egotistical, selfish, amoral Lawyer, in other words, it was a stretch for RDJr. The role was pretty hard for him I guess, but he did great. And Robert Duvall as the hard assed judge getting too old was awesome. That dude can act!!!! Actually both can act!!!! I was just being snide before.
PQ was fine, SQ was fine, nothing much to write about either one. DTS-HD MA 5.1 if memory serves.
I did not expect this movie to be very good, and it was not VERY good, but I do recommend it. It has a decent story and some very good acting by the two principals. Nothing reference at all here, but good entertainment.
God Bless,
Wayne

We have talked about "Unbroken" before, and I read somewhere that this blu-ray is in Dolby Atmos. I went back and checked mine and it is in Dolby True HD 7.1. I don't normally like Dolby, I prefer DTS tracks. But the sound is really quite good on this movie.
I still do not have the bass totally under control in my home theater, so when turned up some of the flak blasts rattled more than it should in the room.
PQ is great and SQ, although perhaps not exactly reference quality, is pretty awesome.
Great movie, highly recommended, again.
Watched "Automata" tonight, PQ is good, SQ is DTS-HD MA 5.1 and solid. But nothing really fantastic. Neither is the movie. Just another take on the OLD Issac Asimov 3 Laws, from I Robot. Which I thought was a WAY better movie.
Still IF you like Antonio Bandares, and reckon that it is fine for him to put Melanie Griffith in a movie because of their relationship, and he was part of the producing team, then you might like this way more than I did.
Not particularly recommended unless you really don't have much to do.

I thought Unbroken was a great movie as well. I would have liked to have seen more of his time after the war to show the journey of healing and forgiveness. It is an incredible biography and an inspiration!

Will Ferrell is one of my favorites for a good laugh. Sometimes he gets VERY raunchy, but always funny.
Well, this wasn't "old School" but I watched "Everything Must Go" last night.
I don't think I am spoiling much to tell you this movie is NOT funny!!!!
I was not ready for this, not in the mood for it, but it was a really good movie!!!!
PQ was fine, and SQ was DTS-HD MA 5.1 good. Nothing great sound effects wise here, but I am always amazed at how great just the music sounds, songs sound on a good blu-ray.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, but not in the usual way.
Not reference anything, just a good message a good watch.
God Bless,
Wayne
