Wayne:
What do I think of the picture quality? I didn't even know Resident Evil the Final Chapter was out. I haven't watched a Blu-ray on my home theater this entire year. POS commands 100% of my time, i Love 2-channel. December is my movie watching month. I'll be sure to check out the new Resident Evil.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

My goodness Bro Anthem, the release date according to Amazon was last May.
You are behind.
She is only $15 at the Amazon on BD.
And $20 for 4K, none are 3D though.
Enjoy POS until movie month.
God Bless,
Wayne

OK, Wayne

You can tune out now. Another musical!!!!

Watched “Jersey Boys” today. We saw it on Broadway first. The story of Frankie Vallie and the Four Seasons. Great story and even better music! Movie directed by Clint Eastwood.

The story line followed the play pretty closely. Songs also.

Loved the SQ at the Broadway show. Once again, the SQ I heard at home was better. By a lot. Just SO mesmerizing, immersive, just plain beautiful. Loved it.

Recommended for those who like musicals. :)

Our dearly beloved King of Thailand passed away one year ago, the longest reigning monarch in the world at that time. And has been lying in State for one year now, while the country mourned his passing. Last evening we joined thousands and thousands of people in our small town to honor his life and service by laying a sandalwood flower to be collected and burned as he was being cremated.
He was born in America, educated in Switzerland and Britain, reigned for 70 years and did a lot of good.
He was a Jazz musician and composer.
He will be missed.
God Bless,
Wayne

Tonight I watched (alone) "King Arthur: Legend of the Sword" which I just read was a flop at the box office.
I can see why.
It is a Guy Ritchie movie, you know him, right? Married once to Madonna, uncle of Richie Rich, brother of Lionel Richie, nephew of Richie Havens, etc. Makes gritty Brit movies.
It is a revised story that those who know Malory's Morte d' Arthur, or those who watched Camelot will not recognize.
Excalibur and Clive Owen's more recent King Arthur tried to make a better movie out of it and I think both succeeded wonderfully. Better than this one. BUT it has its moments as well.
Gritty moments. PQ was pretty great when it was not really dark.
SQ was a choice of DD 7.1 or DTS 7.1, I chose the later and was underwhelmed.
Nothing reference but all in all, the sound served.
I like Jude Law, did not know the young new guy king. But thought the lovely Annabelle Wallis was totally wasted in this movie.
I guess for me it was just too much CGI. But OK.
YMMV.
A 2-3/5 stars limited barely RECOMMENDED if you like big computer graphics sorta thing entertainment.
God Bless,
Wayne
