Tonight it was the lovely Milla Jovovich in what MIGHT be the last "Resident Evil: Final Chapter". Or at least so the name might indicate.
We watched it in 3D.
I am not a fan of the franchise, you will know that when I say I have not seen any of the others. BUT I had heard it was pretty good in 3D, and I have to say I did not feel like I had missed anything not seeing the previous ones.
BUT it was dark, and I was very disappointed in the 3D, at least with the disc we had, which I am not sure was the best.
No recommendation for PQ and SQ was 7.1 and just OK. Not reference at all, IMHO.
But your mileage may very well vary, we watched it in Thai and in English it was surely better sound.
BUT I do not expect to watch it again to confirm that.
I saw it rated 3 stars outta 5, and I would say that might be a star strong, but it was OK.
Not Recommended from me, unless you are a fan of the franchise. BUT it did have Milla in it.

What did you think of this one PQ wise? Was it dark to you?
I have seen bits of one or two others and the PQ was always great.
I mean, you're changing channels and Milla Jovovich is there on the screen, you are not gonna look away are you?
IF I ever get an all region Oppo UDP 205, and IF I finally go for a 4K TV, the first disc I want to play is the latest version of "Fifth Element". I have read that it looks even better than ever!

LOL....not an audiophile first pick.....but I will be getting my new Xbox one X on the 7th of Nov. First native 4K player for my LG 4K TV. The Fifth Element will be one of the first moves I get. Lucy as well. Cant wait to see either of them. Only been streaming 4K content...and I am sure it is not as good as a true disk.
