Just finished up a session with Avenue Blue / Nightlife (featuring Jeff Golub) 1997...I'm going through a Golub phase.:-)
One of his earlier recording with some songs reminiscent of the eighties, especially track # 9 "Only a memory"... sounds like a Ron Jeremy/John Holmes porn tune...not my cup of tea.

Favorite track has to be, "Thank you, may I have another". As I've said before, Jeff is an awesome (butt kickin') guitar master. Give him a listen, you won't regret it.

Wayne, the corn looks great...so does your wife.

Thanks Bro Anthem,
I am home now and the wife and the corn are GREAT!!!!! Thank God!!!!!
I listened to my system again and I just can't get the balance right with the bass.
And Audyssey is all over the place, sometimes helping a bit, sometimes ruining the sound.
And I really decided that my ears are NOWHERE near Golden!!!
I cleaned em out. Things still did not sound right.
I went to the doctor, he said he could not help me, but why didn't I try traditional medicine? He recommended a Chinese audiophile doctor, who advertises (discretely) to balance your ??something chinese??? by putting heated glass globes on your back and letting them suck the bad juju out of you and balance your hearing acuity.
Well, I did try it. See the pic below.
It was the BEST $100 audio investment I ever spent!!!! I feel a VEIL has been lifted from my system!!!!
The whole room is balanced now. Bass, treble, midrange, WOW!!!!
Well, I have to say, it still is a little off, because I cannot sit now, too painful. So standing, I am not exactly in the sweet spot, but when I get healed up, I think my system will be perfect.
I HIGHLY recommend this treatment to all of you, ESPECIALLY those who listen to Smooth Jazz.
The name of the treatment is called "having you on".
Enjoy yer music and don't worry so much,
God Bless,
Wayne

Good grief, Wayne...you need to retire, those business trips are messin' with your mind (and hearing). The name of the treatment is called, "having you on"?...I've got another name for it, but won't mention it (this is a highbrow forum...ha-ha). The wife doesn't think that's you in the picture...she wants you to prove it by taking down your pants. Women...they are all the same :P

Anyway, I'm glad you're home...enjoy your system. Keep us informed on the 7's and how they're sounding, be it positive or negative.

Question... is there not someone in your area who can help you out with your system... a professional service?

Just messin' with ya Bro Anthem, but I do know where Juanita is coming from! Wait till she gets a load of these legs!!!!
Women!!!
I am lovin' my system, no complaints, though it isn't perfect.
The daughter is on a Transformers kick (the movies that is/are).
So it has all been Transformers since I got home. Arrgghh
Last night after all were asleep, I put on a blu-ray of Daniel Barenboim playing the Chopin Concerti 1 and 2. Just to get sensible again.
WOW!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne
