Man...this CD is sounding good. Any Spyro fans out there.

Spyro Gyra / Dreams Beyond Control (1993 GRP)

My Dacware DSG Studio grade cables finally arrived yesterday... took about 5 weeks. Got them hooked up last night. This morning I played Stanley Clark / If this bass could only talk...listened for half hour then had to get to work...liked what I heard.

Tonight listened to Spyro and was very impressed. The song "Birks Law" really grabbed my attention. Cranked her up and listened to "The Delicate Prey"...saxophone's seem to be tamed by this cable. The sound of this cable is warm and clean with good transparency.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Great Bro Anthem,
Glad you got those cables. Do they replace the Radio Shack cables?
I hope so. ha ha
Those look like great cables, glad they tame the sax for you.
I am glad you like Spryo Gyro because every band deserves to have fans and I doubt that there are any up in Northern Thailand anyway.
Enjoy brother, you have earned the right,
God Bless,
Wayne

Good golly miss molly, I had an awesome time today listening to my Tritons.

Jeff Golub / Dangerous Curves (2000)
Jeff Golub / Grand Central (2007)

Jeff gives a knockout performance on both of these CD's...guitar with just a touch of sax and keyboards. Every song is a winner.

I was simply amazed how the Triton's grabbed hold of each instrument, never allowing loss of control even at higher volumes. Bass was dead on and sax was loud but controlled. I replaced the stock power cords on the Triton 2's with Emotiva power cords.

Emotiva xpa-1 monos > PrimaLuna Premium Preamp > Cambridge Azur 840C
Radio Shack 12 gauge speaker wire & Decware DSG interconnects
Shunyata Diamond Back power cords > amps & preamp
Emotiva cmX6 > cmX2 line filtering

Yes Wayne, as you can see I'm still using Radio Shack speaker wire...off and on. My Mapleshade double helix (plus version) will eventually find their way back into the system...but in the meantime I'm going to, "JUST ENJOY THE MUSIC" B)
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Good on you Bro Anthem, enjoy the music!!!!!
I see now, I am finally hearing you.
You got me so upset with that Spyro Gyro reference in the last post, I failed to notice that those are ICs, not speaker wires, so now I see you are still on the Radio Shacks.
Sorry, messing with you about Spyro Gyra. I got confused. I was thinking of Steely Dan.
No, seriously, I was drooling over how cool looking those Decware cables are, seriously throwback beautiful!!!! Those can't be cheap.
How are they? Could you tell any difference when you put them into your system?
My distributor changed out the stock cables on my Tritons for me, (I never even saw them so can't comment on them), he wanted to give me an upgrade. Massive things they are, can't say if they make any difference, but I do get thank you notes from my electric provider!!!! My wife is shocked by how much the electric bill goes up when I am home!!!!!
Sorry, got off track.
Please keep us informed on your audio journey buddy,
Happy listening,
God Bless,
Wayne

May I tempt you with some great guitar... look no further, Jeff is in the house.

Jeff Golub / Temptation (2005)

I have a real fondness for Jeff and his guitar, he has a flair for songs that are high energy, harmonious and loaded with hooks.
Quite honestly, every song on Temptation is a gem...it's hard to pick a favorite.

Wayne, you need to get your rear-end back home...this forum is dead. Everyone, anyone...if you're listening to something, please, take a moment and post ...we are always interested what others are listening to.

Hello Bro Anthem,
Thanks for thinking of me. I have not been able to listen to music at all.
2nd week on the road, heading home this Sat. Lord willing and the Creek don't rise.
I REALLY wanted to be home for this, but missed it, the corn in our garden is READY.
My wife is picking it and fast freezing it.
Bless her!!!!!
God Bless you guys too,
Wayne
