Splash51 wrote: WOW what a description!!!!! I believe Rick has found a great deal of improvement. I am going to order a couple anti-cables in early January and give them a try. I'm also going to get that Roy Orbison disc!!! Sounds like a good addition to the collection  I think we all agree each individuals gear and electrical environment will effect how different cables sound. I think my setup as is has he sounds Rick described. I would suggest the Eagles Farewell tour live from Melbourne Australia as a good reference Blue-ray. It is fantastically recorded and performed. I am open to sound improvements and actually hope to be pleasantly surprised  Except I will have to spend more money on cables instead of music/videos.

Enjoy!!

Hi, DT

Good luck with your experiment with Anti-Cables! Please let us know what you discover.

Re the Eagles Farewell tour live from Melbourne DVD, I totally agree. It rocks. I got that DVD also, about 3 weeks ago, as part of my quest to add to my collection of great music. 30 great hits, Eagles at their best, great sound quality. That rendition of "Hotel California", starting with the trumpet solo, and Don Henley also just killing drums, is a classic all by itself. Goosebump stuff. Highly recommended also.

Happy listening and testing!

Rick

Hey D. T. , Rick and all,
Roy Orbison, "The Voice" we called him in Texas, that Black and White blu-ray and the Eagles Farewell Melbourne blu-ray are both
GREAT and everyone should enjoy them some of that!!!!!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND those discs along with Leonard Cohen "Songs From the Road".
Happy listening,
God Bless,
Wayne

Thanks D. T. for the vote of confidence and kind words!!!!
I really hope you like it.
Not only is L. C.'s voice amazing, but check out the mandolin/12 string player, the guy on the woodwinds, the guitarist on the Fender Telecaster (sweet sound), the keyboards, the bass, heck let's just include the back up singers too. There are some amazing musicians on that disc.
Enjoy, please let me know what you think,
God Bless,
Wayne

Hi, Anthem

Did you get your new Anti-Cable and interconnect yet? (did it get posted somewhere where I missed it?)

Can't wait to get your impressions, worded as always so well!
