Rick, I too am curious to read reviews from customers and professionals who are demoing them. I'm pretty confident they will all be favorable. As to ordering a pair without listening, that's what I did. Ordinarily I would have had reservations about doing so, but having owned the Triton One's and knowing how good they are, coupled with Golden Ear's reputation for both customer service and sound, I had faith that I wouldn't go wrong. Besides, like Joe Biden used to eloquently state from time-to-time, what are the alternatives (at the Reference price point)?

Yes. I use a completely different set of speakers and amplifiers for my HT and my 2-channel stereo listening. I am very pleased with these two different setups.

Interesting folks, thanks for the ideas.
In my case I'd use the same mains (T Ref), but use my current amp to drive the center and surrounds and my Rogue (100 watts) to drive T Refs. Worried the amp might be underpowered, but pretty easy to set it up and switch things around to see how they sounds.
I can try it with my T 1 - give me something to do while waiting for the Refs

I'm giving my pair of Triton Reference a well deserved day of rest.

And I'm very much looking forward to reading a review by whomever else has the good fortune of obtaining them.
