I may be in the wrong boat here but I'm using a McIntosh M7270. Very clean sound, warm room filling and a wide sound stage. On one Master Audio CD I can hear the musicians foot tapping.
Built my first amplifier at age 17; just turned 74 last December, so I've been through a few in my lifetime.
Did replace the two large power supply capacitors about a year and a half ago. made a difference even my wife noticed.
The T2s' are the best speakers I've ever heard!!!

Thanks! And not at all, the Mac amps sound great on the Tritons. Especially their old tube gear.

A lot of folks, including me, drool over these old (and new) McIntosh amps. I have a 1984 amp driving my T2s. I will be taking it in for evaluation to make sure the capacitors and other components are to spec.
7.1 today, moving to 7.1.4 tomorrow
