Congrats Marsman on having your T1s up and running. They really are fantastic speakers. I agree with others that break in will improve things even more, especially in the highs. I didn't notice much difference in the bass after break in, but those little bass control knobs in the back can make a big difference. So don't be afraid to play around there.

I went through several different speaker (and interconnect) cables, and I can tell you they can make a big difference. The cables I've tried (Morrow Audio, Audience) all took a hundred hours or more to sound their best. As they broke in, there was a continuing improvement in fine detail. The T1s are so transparent that you'll hear all this happening.

OK...so I went ahead and ordered mine today. My local dealer agreed to trade in my T7's for what I paid for them since I've only had them a month. They are great for the money no doubt but after hearing the the T1's I knew I wouldn't be happy until I had them:)

you made a good move. the sound i have been experiencing as they break in is amazing to say the least .. a full range speaker is the way to go and the T1s do everything right

gmwinder - you are going to love the T-ONes. Good decision. Be sure to download Sandy's Tips under "Support". Read it a couple o times and you will find its loaded with tips. Then Read the Members Systems and Support Forum. There is a ton of tips from lots of us.

Thanks guys...I'm actually listening to Rach #3 Piano Concerto and thinking these are not that bad so how good are the T1's going to sound....I did move the T7's more into the corner and it has def. helped the bass.

moving into the corners will help the bass but usually at sacrifice of clarity .. you want speakers usually out of corners and off the back wall as far as possible
