Thanks Guys,
My internet has been down, so I am behind on my reports.
Bro. Rick, I would not recommend the ForceField subs. I am sure the new technology subs are far superior.
Go with one of them IF you need a sub.
Again, my surround sound system is NOT dialed in for the new Triton Ones. My position for the T 2s is too close to seating, I have to get extensions for their speaker wires. My DIRAC room correction has not been run, nor will it be until I can get the surrounds located correctly.
Rick, I am seriously considering leaving the T 3s as rear surrounds. I probably will. I do not like them better for two channel in the other room than the T 7s. Bass wise, yes, but not for treble or mids, I just prefer the T 7s, they are more refined, IMHO.
I did play a new U2 concert blu-ray last night. Remember, I am not dialed in really, but it sounded amazing with the Triton Ones in the lead position!!!! "Live in Paris" is a lively, modern, fast cut, U2 concert, not quite as self-righteous as Bono often is. The PQ is AWESOME!!!!!! This is reference picture to me.
SQ is a bit of a mix, the surrounds are not used much, not really providing for concert hall ambience, but then when they decide to be cute, and play some stuff in the surrounds it is REALLY there, and I guess effective. There is an explosion too which used all my bass.
I did not care for a lot of it, but it got much better when they got to the second half and sang more of their old, better known songs.
IF you like U2 then this should be in your library, and if you really like them, you will love this.
And Bono can speak French almost as well as I can, ha ha.
It was MUCH better because of the Ones!!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne

Bro T. Cobe,
I do have the LFE inputs connected on both the Triton Ones and my T 2s in surround position.
For now I have set the Ones bass dial to 12 o'clock, and left them there. Also, I placed the Ones roughly where my T 2s were and have done very little tweaking of their positions.
I find that the Ones are extremely easy to set up and dial in, either that or I have been lucky.
I was worried that my room is not big enough for them, but they fit and play unrestrained, at ease.
I know I must spend more time with positioning, the bass volume, and room correction. But I am just in shock at how well they play with so little effort on my part.
Once again, I think part of that ease of setup is their similarity with the Triton Twos.
More to follow, God Bless,
Wayne

Further, both you T. and Rick mentioned my equipment working with the new Ones.
I think I am finding that the Ones are VERY revealing of ancillary equipment, I believe they bring out the best from my team of equipment, cables, etc.
I think I am feeling proud of my equipment, because I believe, from what I have heard so far, if there were any really weak links, these wonderful speakers would have brought that out, shown it up!!!!
So far I am REALLY happy with how well the Ones play with the rest of the team!!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne

Well Guys,
I listened to/watched the U2 blu-ray until the encore last night, had to go to bed. Put the encore on just to hear the last song, WELL, NOT, I missed LOTS, and the last two songs the Eagles of Death Metal came on.
I feel I damned this concert with faint praise. I was wrong to do that, it REALLY is good and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
Art, this might make you start listening to Rock and Roll!!!!
There is a lot of processing going on, but come on, this is the Edge on real guitars (and piano), real bass, and REAL drums!!!!!! How often on our albums do we get to hear real instruments, and singing without auto-tune these days?????
Anyway, one more note already made, I just cannot believe how great the picture is on this blu-ray!!!! It makes me totally feel like 4K and HDR is all a bunch of hype that will go nowhere, because PQ just cannot get much (noticeably) better than this is. Sorry, my humble opinion.
Off to listen to some Beethoven. Roll over Beethoven!!!!!
God Bless, Wayne

Hi Wayne,
Glad to learn you are enjoying your Triton One adventure. With your T2s and T3s available as surround speakers, you probably don't need any additional subs.
Have fun exploring your listening oiptions.
Best,
Art

Hey, Wayne
I'm glad you're finding the bass reach and depth you're looking for in music with the T1's, plus all the magical imaging and clarity. I feel the same way. I wondered if your amazing tube amps would present bass just a little "softer", but so glad to hear you're getting all you want! The T1's contributions to HT is another bonus.
Can't wait to read about what your new set-up does with Beethoven!!!!
Happy listening! Keep the reviews coming!
Rick
