Melvin,

Welcome to the forum! Congrats on the new T1s. That looks like a great setup from your avatar. We actually started a separate thread just on the AVM 60 due to the lack of reviews and interest by forum members. With you, I think we are up to 3 owners that I know of. How is the sound quality of the AVM 60 compared to your 8801?

What other gear are you running in your theater? What are your other amps? Are you using a stand alone sub or just the T1s? Feel free to post more of your listening impressions or ask any questions you may have. We try to keep this a safe and positive place to share thoughts and ask questions.

Cheers,

T Cobe

Hi Melvin!! If you like your T1s now just give them a little time to break in. They will get better!! Believe it or not they will open up even more and you will hear things in music you had not before :)

Enjoy!!

T Cobe: I am using an Anthem P2 and Emotiva MPS-1 and Mini X a100 amps. I haven't set up Atmos yet as I am waiting for some Invisia MPX speakers to come in. After they're in, I'll use those as surrounds and my previous in ceiling Polk 80LCi speakers for Atmos .4. I use the Triton subs and an additional SVS SB13 Ultra. I have a pair of Aon 3's I may use as rear surrounds, but I want to see how the MPX's do first.

Other stuff is a Vizio M65-C1, Oppo BDP-95, PC, xBox One, PS4 and WiiU.
Basement:
-Anthem AVM 60, Anthem P2 and Emotiva MPS-1
-5.1.4 GE Triton 1's, SuperCenter XXL, Invisia MPX, Polk LSi In-ceiling for Atmos/DTS-X, JTR Captivator S1
-Oppo UDP-203, Xbox One, PS4 and PC, -Sony VWVPL600ES, Vizio M65

Great looking room and setup, Melvin. Thanks for posting the original image. It's even better full size! I bet the T1s sound great on that P2. Keep us posted on your updates.

Cheers,

T Cobe

Just added the MPX's for surrounds and replaced my SVS SB-13 Ultras with a JTR Captivator S1. I added a 110" tension tab Visual Apex Electric screen and a Sony VW-VPL600ES projector. It is pretty awesome. I am really happy with the sound and the projector image is fantastic. I have definitely been watching more movies with the image size now matching the scale of the sound. 3D now makes more sense to me since it doesn't seem like your watching a box. Gravity was really something in 3D. I have some other 3D Blu-Rays I'll need to check out. My family and I love it.
