It remains to be seen when things dry out. Wish you could have heard it, it is the 4004 Mk 2. I used it to drive my Apogee Stages because of the awesome power at low impedances. Course I had it changed over by the factory to 220VAC when they did the Mk 2 upgrade.
Thanks for the prayers, still drying out here.
God Bless,
Wayne

Thanks guys for the prayers and good wishes, it did NOT rain, thank the Lord!!!!
And the workmen did come today and put the roof tiles back on, got us in the dry again.
They even did some ceiling sheetrock work, but more tomorrow.
So thankful to have the roof back on and not have to mop any more.
Still got a mess, but we can slowly clear that.
God Bless,
Wayne

I know I am WAY behind, did someone report on "Transformers Last Knight" yet?
I watched it last night, took a long time, one because it is a long movie and two because it was boring the socks off me and I don't wear socks!!!!
PQ was CGI fine, same old could be cartoon but done on a computer stuff.
We rewrote the history of western civiliZation with Merlin, the Knights, etc. And good ole Anthony Hopkins joined in, almost a stellar cast.
SQ is what we are interested in and DD 7.1 was quite good.
IF you are a fan of the franchise, be sure to see this one.
IF you like CGI nonsense and GREAT sound, watch this one.
IF you want a real movie, give this one a miss.
Sorry I cannot recommend it as anything but "see what we can do with modern technology entertainment".
Hope this helps somebody, God Bless,
Wayne

Things are getting back to "normal" whatever that is, around here.
Got lots of movies to watch now that we are finished for now with zombies.
Watched "Dark Tower" with the fam last night, they enjoyed it even more than I did. And I liked it.
The PQ was fine as. And the 7.1 surround sound was REALLY great. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

OK, but tonight we watched the feel good, a bit manipulative to be heart wrenching, ok, it was a crying good movie: "Wonder".
About the disfigured boy who finally goes to school.
PQ was fine, the actors were super good!!! Well written and the sound was 7.1 but I did not notice that surround was really used in any meaningful way, still that is not what this movie is about. This is about family and get the box of tissues.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Family movie.
I saw it was rated at least 4 outta 5 stars, I think Rotten Tomatoes was even higher, get it, you will like it.

Is it just me?
Whenever I FINALLY get a CD, SACD, DVD, Blu Ray OPEN, I feel like I should be able to stand on the podium and get my GOLD MEDAL!!!!!
These sons of a gun are WAY too hard to open, especially the ones with the extra sticky strip across the top!
AND then, you finally get it open and the disc has come off the spindle thingy and got all scratched up, no way to return it. And fresh outta the box it won't even all play!!!! SUCKS!!!!!
BUT when they do, all is good in my world.
God Bless,
Wayne

Tonight's movie was a surprise, a good one, or better than expected. "American Made" with Tom Cruise and Sarah Wright.
PQ was quite good, but the SQ really surprised. Airplanes flying overhead often, bullets being shot into the plane--that sounded WAY too real!!!!!
Based on a sadly true story of America's involvement with the So. American drug cartel and Central American politics, the most ridiculous things that were too crazy to be believed but were true.
This is like a 4 outta 5 star movie, with the sound being really good, music wise and use of surround.
RECOMMENDED.
