The Triton 2's combined with Radio Shack speaker wire ($25.00 a pair)...has solved many previous problems ; amazing stuff.
I've been listening to:

Brian Bromberg / Jaco (2006) A beautifully done CD, sonically spectacular. Brian is a phenomenal musician.
Spyro Gyro / Down the Wire (2009) This is a CD that has never sounded right, until today. The bass had definition, voices were much clearer and my beloved saxophones were quite listenable. The wife came home as the CD was playing and had a "clap for the wolf man" moment, said she really enjoyed it.

Had a wonderful afternoon listening to my Triton/PrimaLuna Preamp (TL)/Oppo 105/Radio Shack wire/ system, it's like I'm hearing things for the first time. I had the pleasure of listening to 4 CD's.

Herbie Hancock/ The New Standard (1996) Piano : Thieves In The Temple fav. track.
Stanley Clarke/If This Bass Could Only Talk (1988) Bass
Hubert Laws/Moondance (2004) Flute ; Favorite track/Bloodshot
Frank Catalano/Bang (2008) Saxophone ; Track 7/Funky Dunky is a must listen, gets in your head and won't let go.

DEADLIFT WEDNESDAY was a beast today. I've been listening to the Triton's strut their stuff on piano and guitar...quite lovely.

This morning I was listening to a Classical CD sampler and the wife walked into the living room and said, "that sounds like something WAYNE would listen to......" She's right!!
