Well boys & girls, it's colder then a Witch's (???) in a brass bra this morning, ten inches of new snow and one degree. Tomorrow morning will be minus six, the poor ole Witch may need a bra with thinsulate.

Have been listening to two gems this morning.
Peter White / Glow (2001)
Peter White / Here We Go (2012)
Both are fantastic CDs and a joy too listen to.

Wayne have you noticed the louder you play your Triton's, the better they sound. I hope & pray I don't loose my hearing.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Bro Anthem, stay warm and safe over there.
YES, the Tritons LOVE to ROCK, LOUD!!!!!
The wife gets a little frustrated with that, I play music louder than I used to,
"Sorry, just testing out the new speakers, just testing the system" does not cut it any more. She reckons the tests should be finished by now!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne

I'm having a hallelujah afternoon listening to:

Fourplay/Heartfelt (2002)
Fourplay/Between the Sheets (1993)
Larry Carlton /FireWire (2006)

I think the real amazement this afternoon came when I switched my Mapleshade/Clear view Double Helix Plus version speaker cable to a 10-20 year old Radio Shack 12 gauge wire. I normally have the Triton 2's sub level set at 11-12 and with the Radio Shack wires had to turn them down to 9. I also took the spikes off the front of the speakers (left rear spikes on) and am really amazed at the overall sound. Rock solid bass and greater separation of instruments. There are some songs on these CD's I'm not to fond of, but with these adjustments I truly had a blast.

Maybe what Santhosh said holds some merit ...sometimes simple may be better.

I want to fly like an eagle...listening to Ed Hamilton/ Groovology (1998) Guitar/ sax/piano & drums, medium tempo smooth jazz.
Groovology - the art of the groove, smooth jazz as played by Ed Hamilton. Shows great skill, SLANG associated in a meaningful way (American)
Groovy - SLANG first-rate, excellent, perfect

Wayne do you think Mike and I are on to something (SMOOTH JAZZ) ? Why don't you join us (BETWEEN THE SHEETS). I guarantee you'll have a great time....
