I guess how I handled the added 1.5" of height added by the Gaia II's over rubber feet is similar to what I've read: I just raised the rear settings a little bit to aim the Ref's at the same listening position as before. LOTS of adjustment room with the Gaia's to adjust relative angles.

I didn't try changing listening heights beyond that adjustment, just love the added clarity and bass finesse I hear as is.

Maybe there's more fine fining I could do with front/rear Gaia height adjustments, but I'm totally happy with the SQ jump I got with the isolators, as is.

Bottom line, the Gaia's DO settle down something, whether it's stray sound/vibration bounce/cancellation effects from floors, or speaker cabinet movement that blurs sound. All I know is they make a difference for the better.

Hi,

Heres an article on an alternative - Herbies decoupling gliders:

www.psaudio.com/article/spiking-your-speakers-whats-the-point/

I'm looking to order a set for my T1's - in the interim, I've used the authors suggestion of furniture gliders under my spikes - works really well!

Cheers
Sean

Sean:
The Herbies Decoupling Gliders really look interesting. This weekend I'll read up on them, and possibly place an order.

Thanks

Which one did you get...the Brass, Stainless steel, or the Titanium?

Went with the brass. Have read elsewhere it has benefits in regard to isolation - time will tell. I got the regular size which shouldn’t raise the height too much. If additional stability is needed there are always these.....soundocity.com/product/outriggers-with-brass-cones/
