Congrats on the Refs making Stereophile's Class A-list - there's nothing else nearly as affordable in that group!

As for Audiogon, the guys in that thread are totally sold on Focals. They're only slightly less boring than the folks on the huge thread waxing rhapsodic over Tekton Lores. There's folks at A-gon who dismiss GET speakers and hint (none too subtly) that if you like Tritons your ears are not very sophisticated - or they damn them with faint prasie as OK for HT.

Maybe it's because I'm a gurl, but I HATE some audio dude mansplaining why his speakers are better than mine. (It's in the measurements, doncha know, lol!) Just another reason I hang more at Audio Asylum.

Lets not forget the "made in China" routine.

Very interesting in regards to made in China..... Just a few days ago, PS Audio did an open factory tour, narrated by Paul Mcgowan.


I found it interesting that they too source certain items (three if memory serves) from China.

One such item that stuck in my mind is - get this - a finished black piano gloss covering - for one of their components. It is precisely (seemingly) the same as the finish of the T Refs. Paul goes on to mention their rationale for using China.
