Hey Wayne: I thought this would be the perfect place to post this...I know you're always ready for a good laugh, so here she goes. I've mentioned DEADLIFT SUNDAY on one occasion so I thought I'd give you a sample of what this insane boy from Kansas does on a weekly basis (among other things)
Sunday:
Sets / Reps / percentage of 1 rep max / weight
Dead lift:
2. 10 135, 225
2. 4. 50, 60. 220, 264
2. 3. 70. 308
5. 5. 80. 352
Bottom-half dead lift
2. 4. 50, 60. 220, 264
5. 4. 70. 308
Rack pull
1. 4. 60. 264
2. 4. 70. 308
2. 3. 80. 352
4. 2. 90. 396
Gooodmornings
5. 10. 80
Wednesday:
Deficit dead lift
2. 10. 135, 225
1. 3. 50. 220
2. 3. 60. 264
4. 2. 65. 286
Dead lift
2. 4. 50, 60. 220, 264
2. 3. 70. 308
5. 3. 80. 352
Good mornings
5. 5. 120
Each week, for 4 consecutive weeks, add 10 lbs. to each lift. Take the fifth week off from dead lifting and in the sixth week try for a new 1 rep max. I hit 425 last Sunday...my new 1 rep max I will be training for will be 440.
Call me crazy, but I really enjoy this....laugh, laugh, laugh.
