Cooking down from a little hard work this morning and finishing up The Bridge. My lawn tractor had a flat this morning so I had to finish the last of the 40 yards of mulch we had delivered by hand. That will be my work out for the day. Just enough time to cool down before we head out to see the new Tarzan movie.

We have company coming over tomorrow, so the house and yard should be all taken care of early during our vacation/staycation. Hopefully that means we can relax the rest of the week. Honey-Do lists seem to be like zombies and bad luck: you just can't get rid of them!

Cheers,

T Cobe

Rick

Very nice, Rick. I particularly like the props in the background. I had to wrestle a half barrel into the house yesterday. Ditto on what Anthem said for me. I'm glad to have both of you here. I sure wish Wayne would come back as well... We probably need someone to balance out our playlist with a little classic rock, if nothing else.

Cheers,

T Cobe

Thank T Cobe and all for thinking of me. I do check on you guys from time to time.
I found your comments about the snare drum interesting. I have been listening to lots of classical music (might post on that on the other thread, not to bother this elevator music thread, ha ha) and it made me appreciate the tympani more, a "tuned" drum.
God Bless, Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

Glad to hear from you, Wayne! We do post a lot of elevator music but I listen to music with explicit lyrics as well, so I choose not to post those. Jazz is approved for all audiences and I do listen to that most. Right now however, I'm listening to The Chronic 2001 from Dr. Dre. The Tritons are sounding like monsters!

Regarding the snare drum, it's mostly just the scraping of the brushes that I don't like. I love the snare otherwise. Percussion in general adds a lot to music for me. Usually it's the bass, though not as much with the snare. You know how bass heads love the thump of a good bass groove.

Cheers,

T Cobe
