Hey, Anthem

Yes, my musical tastes do wander past "GIDDY UP" now and then. I added Bob Marley to my CD collection years ago. About the only musical styles I can't quite "get into" are opera and really heavy metal (though I promise to sample any additional Ozzy posts you do. :P )

Another Bob Marley, in part to push through my last post.

Someone posted earlier about "drugs of choice" (was it you, Anthem, with music (or was it whey?) as your drug of choice?). In any case, music is MY drug of choice . Can't explain why this Nordic brain of mine, usually so self controlled, reacts the way it does to beautiful music. It doesn't seem to run in the family. But I truly can become just mesmerized with beautifully played AND PRESENTED music. And my brain is always asking, "have I heard all there is to hear"? GEt to the rescue!

Brecker Brothers / Out of the Loop (1994) -- African Skies

This is a Great recording and Dynamic as all Get Out.
Rick, run this one through your Sony's and see what you think...
Let that "Nordic" brain of yours go wild.

"Nordic"...doesn't that pertain to skinny, young, blond, girls with pimples?
Just wondering...
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Hey, Anthem

As always, great music post!

Yes, my SONY headphones delivered great music, including on your post. Good stuff, once again, Anthem!

Re Nordic brain stuff.. I'm sure there are lots of good looking young girls who fit the descrirpition of yours, my own description is "how does this music sound in addition?" Not sure about how pimply gals add in.. having been there, there are no better options for listening to music than being right here.. Norway is lovely (my Grandfather came from Sweden, another Scandanavian/Nordic country, haven't been there)..but music sources and options?? Can't beat right here.

Charles Mingus / Dynasty -- Mood Indigo

I've been listening to this through the Torri with the replacement Mullard tubes and Anti-Cable Reference 3 powercords on the T2's. Wow...I really like what I'm hearing. The brightness is gone, better focus, and much better bass detail.
Anthem is a Happy Camper. Thanks T Cobe for turning me on to Dynasty, really some great music.

Rick...U a Mingus fan yet? Stick around, you will be.
