Well I think we need both Texas and Thailand!!! I like the idea of a GEt BBQ thread. We can discuss out door audio equipment and grilling techniques, recipes and tricks we have learned along the way. I grill/smoke year around no matter what the weather is doing. One of my grills is covered so I can cook in the rain.

Enjoy

Hey T. Cobe, THAILAND of course!!!!!!
IF we had a BBQ at your place it would have to be frozen steaks!!!!!
AND
I do have the BBQ.
AND
GREAT weather.
Rick,
We do get the Voice and other shows within 24 hours of when they play in America. But I am behind, have to watch a replay later.
About Miles Davis, "Kind of Blue" it may be the reason that J. Gordon Holt, the guy who started Stereophile Mag. said something about the better the recording, the worse the performance. Or the reverse.
It is indeed rare to find a great recording of a great performance. Those are the few that we try to share around here.
There are some great recordings of some lousy music too, to go with those great performances poorly recorded.
I wish I could help, God Bless,
Wayne

Hey D. T.
I am great with a BBQ/Grillin' thread IF the Moderator Dude agrees to it.
I am sure I could learn something from you as well as others.
But is it not my forum, I will go with whatever the powers that be say.
God Bless,
Wayne

New music Saturday. Listening to Donald Byrd /Black Byrd (1972) -- Black Byrd.

After listening to this one, I feel like I've smoked a Doobie. Way cool tune with just the right amount of brass and funk. Far Out Man...Peace, My Brother & Sisters.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Bro. Anthem, that is the best one you have posted, not my kind of music but getting closer.

OK, I got Adele 25 on file, FLAC but just normal resolution.
I like Adele's music, and I like this disc, but not nearly as well as 21. IMHO it is OVER PROCESSED, too busy and the highs are TERRIBLE!!!!! Except on a couple of songs, the high notes are HARSH.
I am another vote for POORLY RECORDED.
God Bless,
Wayne

Speaking of not so great recordings..

Artist: Rolling Stones
Album: GRRR!
Song: Paint It, Black

Of all their songs, this is my favorite. SQ is a bit lacking and I had to make sure everything was turned on and set properly to see if something was wrong. A few extra dB on the volume and a little into the song, I forget about SQ...

Cheers,

T Cobe
