Oh I should add, placement would seem critical, since there is no way you can isolate any one of these speakers to control volume for either of these center channels from the receiver.

My TV sits alittle higher than desired, but both speakers are roughly 20" above and under! I would wonder if I lowered my TV, if I would still like how it sounds, or maybe it's just an non issue!

A little write up on the new SuperCenterXXL in addition to the product details now appearing on the products page.

Moderator, is this the first 3-way passive speaker by GET? Sound and Vision lists the outer bass drivers crossed over at 500 Hz. If I'm not mistaken that makes it a 3-way crossover and I believe the first 3-way passive design. An indication for what may be coming in a Triton 4...? Ok, you don't have to answer that last part.

The information is from GoldenEar's June 1st press release announcement for the SuperCenter XXL. (Sandy writes all the GoldenEar press releases.) Details are being added to the website over the next few days. It is actually a 2-1/2 way design, I believe, and initial reports are it sounds quite amazing. Can't wait to get my hands on one. Nothing to report on any other models ... besides, everyone loves surprises.

Absolutely, Rick! I'm excited and thankful that our voices were heard. I think this will dramatically improve my home theater set up. The center speaker is paramount! Hopefully it will bridge the performance gap and sound more like the T1 than the T7, not that either is bad... Please share your audition experience. I doubt any of my local dealers will carry the SCXXL since they don't have either of the othe SC speakers on display.
