BUT as mentioned before, I am gonna try the tube amp out in the home theater with a bypass, to see if it has enough ummph playing loud, but still the quality when I want to listen critically to 2 channel.

The choices are endless.
God bless the child that's got his own.

Bro Wayne (dude):

I'd put the Triton 2's in the theater room (leave the tube amp out of the setup) & use solid-state electronics.
The Triton 3's would be perfect for 2 channel using tube gear.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Bro Anthem,
You could VERY WELL be right!!!!!
Did you get a chance to listen with some tubes?
I am almost home, just one more 1:10 flight. Flew all night, passed through a lightening storm at around 4:30 am. Not many people sleeping through that one!!!!
Blessings,
Wayne

Acoustic Sounds appears to be by appointment only...decided to order from Upscale Audio in California. upscale audio.com
I'm interested in the Mystere CA-21 & Mystere CA-11. I'll give them a call tomorrow.

Today was rather depressing. Snowed most of the day, temp holding around 35, didn't go anywhere. Blaaaa

Hi Wayne... Sounds to me like the theater deserves the big guns (speakers and amps). Triton Threes should be fine in your music room unless the room is very large and you want to rock, in which case they are probably still OK. :) I have heard Threes with modest power tube amps and have been shocked at how loud they played.
