Speakers / Crossovers
Front Full Band
Center. 100 Hz
Surround 100 Hz
Surround Back. 100 Hz
(Audyssey set surrounds at 110 Hz and 120 Hz. Speaker manuals said 100 Hz. so I changed it)

Speaker/Bass. LPF for LFE. 80 Hz (Audyssey set at 250 Hz and I couldn't tell any difference)

I would suggest the 120 Hz setting for improved dynamics. LFE set to 250Hz is actually correct, 80Hz will lop off some LFE content.

Okay .I have had my Triton Three's for over a week now. Did some tweaking. a little EQ, some burn in. I must say, they sound really good. I just got my Aon 2 for a center channel and Im lovin it !! All is good. Music sounds Fab and movies...well, I cant see how it could sound any better. Thanks GoldenEar

I am going to post a detailed review soon in the Triton section for others that might be interested

djsallad,
That is wonderful news, thanks!!!!
What do you think made the most difference?
PLEASE do give a much more detailed review when you have time, I am seriously interested. We can learn from what you went through. You obviously have good critical listening skills/ability.
Let us know.
And more about the Aon as a center channel if you will. I really like that idea, but not sure of any way to physically implement it.
Thanks,
Blessings,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

I had the GoldenEar Rep over today. He basically confirmed that I am not crazy or being too picky. Some music sounds good and some not. It's not by a specific source, it is by the type of music. We put on several vocal CD's and computer files and they sounded great. Even though he hates digital music, Neil Young's Cowgirl in the Sand proved my sanity and that something is not right with the receiver or that it just does not perform as either of us hoped. We are going to replace the Denon X3000 with the X4000. Hopefully that solves the problem and I can start enjoying my GoldenEars.

I wish someone would confirm that about a few of us!

Glad you're on the path of discovery, let us know what you find.
