I am in an introspective mood this Sunday evening, remembering my cousin who went to the great beyond :( . I am listening to an album that he once told me he liked...Lee Ann Womack's "I hope you dance". This is an album with great sonics and Lee Ann has a good voice.
I hope you dance...

He, She, We, Me...ya gotta have a clean spleen and a grip on your hip.

Started listening to this morning and just finished
Jon Faddis/Teranga (2006)

I call Jon, "The screaming trumpet "...he has a most unique style. Track #6: The Fibble-ow Blues, the separation of each instrument is outstanding...this track is a hoot. I asked the wife this morning what she thought of Jon and his band, "they're different"...yes they are, but a "Good Different ".

It's been a great day, many great tunes have passed through my ears.

John Scofield / Groove Elation (1995)
Rick Braun / Full Stride (1998)
Larry Carlton / Fire Wire (2006)
Red Baraat / Chaal Baby (2010)
The Cookers / Time and Time Again (2014)

I've been using the Wayne Wilmeth - 3 across the front - approach. I will say, it sounds great.
I'm using three Emotiva xpa-1 monoblocks (balanced inputs) >Anthem D2V > OPPO 105 > pcm > all channel stereo mode. I'm using the T2's LFE inputs which is crossed at 80 hz and full bandwidth (no crossover ) for the remainder. The SS 60C is crossed at 100hz...this combination sounds wonderful. Moderator suggests a 120 hz setting for the sub...I will experiment with that, probably next week.

With this setup, so many tunes grabbed my attention. A special wow goes to Red Baraat with their songs "Baraat To Nowhere" and "Chaal Baby". Every cd today was a joy to listen to. The Soundstage is wide and has good depth, and to my ears there is nothing lacking in the bass department. Can't wait for my next listening session.

Yet another dark and rainy late Sunday afternoon, listening to one of the wife's favorite bands.

Ottmar Liebert & Luna Negra / Opium (1996)

The wife's favorite song is Tremudo (de MI corazon) Otmar's guitar is perfect for Sunday afternoons.

Again listening to "3 across the front ". As per moderator's suggestion I'm using a 120 hz and Bypass for the sub...thus far, sounds good.

An oldie but it's a long time favorite...Andy Narell, 'Little Secrets' (1989)

New T2 owner, purchased from Steve772, off this forum. Loving the GE experience. Need a SC XL and a couple of Invisa HTR 7000 to round out. Already have 2 15" Rythmik Subs for HT work.
