THANKS BRO ANTHEM, I THINK!!!!!

Actually that is pretty high recommendation for Thelma Lou (normally tubes get the blame for fat and bloated bass) and our beloved Triton 2s!!!!!

Great sounding, natural bass is what I am looking for. Can't wait. Well, I guess I can because I am.
Patience my BUTT!!!!!

Blessings for the new year!!!!!
Wayne

Interestingly I just bought the Boney James Pure CD yesterday as I saw it on sale at my local store and yes the bass sounds very good. I have Triton 3's and find all of Boney James albums to have a nice sound - especially the sax and bass which sound excellent. Check out his latest album "The Beat". Great music and to my ears his best sounding album yet.

Doggoneit Bro Anthem!!!!!

You must have been a good boy this year. Wow. You got a new amp, a Oppo 105 for Christmas, got a new friend that likes your music, Mitch, your wife is still talking to you, and NOW GoldenEar Tech is quoting you on Facebook!!!!!!

I am jealous.

But it couldn't happen to a nicer guy,
God Bless, Wayne

It's the last day of 2013 and I'm treating myself to a recommendation from Santhosh.

Flim & the BB's / Neon (1987)

For an All Digital recording, this one sounds great. On the label it says recorded DD, I've never seen that before.
They record directly onto two-track digital tape. What is the difference between recording in DD verses DDD?
The saxophones on the Neon CD sounded much better than saxes on Tricycle which was recorded DDD.
One could use Neon as a demo disc. Check out track #7 "Toy chest" they make full use of their toys.
Excellent music, Excellent recording...thanks Santhosh.

Happy New Year to all my GE friends & your families!
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Hey Anthem,
Yes, that is a demo quality disc. And it is recorded in DD, Distinguished Digital. There were only a few discs cut this way, they made it specially so YOU could enjoy the sax and other in yo face instruments on there.
I am glad to hear it worked for you.
Sadly, they stopped making DD discs when they found out there was only one or two people in the world that JUST HAD to listen to the sax and have it be smooooooth. Most nearly everyone else in the world stays away from such music, thinking (maybe wrongly, who am I to say???) they would just about as soon listen to a 10 year old practice the clarinet AND have grandma's rockin' chair come down hard on the cat's tail at the same time.

Enjoy brother and Happy New Year!!!!!
God bless the child that's got his own.
