Wayne, I did send you a reply earlier, but it never got on the discussion board. Don't know why. Yes, Back to black is a great album. I have also listened to "Frank" another great album. I am now listening to "Lioness". Have just started the first track. Have not formed a firm opinion yet.

Thanks Bro Santhosh,
Pls let me know which one you recommend the most. From the samples I heard on Amazon, she sounds more like Adele than the bluesy sound I was hoping for. Not a bad thing, just not what I like the most--love Adele though.
Looking forward to more recommendations,
All the best, blessings,
Wayne

Back to black is the best. However I really like some of the tracks from Frank - especially F*** me pumps. Be careful though, Her lyrics are R-rated, so be careful your daughter is not around (or is fast asleep) when you play the CD.

Anthem, I see you like Jazz and the trumpet and sax. Here is a group I absolutely love. They were one of the first to make digital recordings and I have almost all of their CDs. The group is Flim and the BBs. I am currently listening to Neon, and this album is absolutely gorgeous with all the instruments playing beautifully and harmoniously. I really love the fact that I can pick out all the instruments in the soundstage and they are all melding in to create a beautiful whole.

Santhosh, Amazon wouldn't let me listen to any of the Flim & the BB's albums so went to YouTube and watched Tricycle. Most interesting... I think I'll place an order before Christmas and pickup a couple of their CD's.

Thanks for the suggestion.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Thanks Bro Santhosh for the recommendation and the warning. I will try to get that CD.
But why did you tell Bro Anthem about Flim and the BBs???? Now he will REALLY be prancing/dancing around the house with his barbells and short shorts!!!!!
Sorry Bro Anthem, I could not resist. That was not fair to you. Now, AFTER NEW YEAR, when I make my "no more politically incorrect comments" resolution, I won't be able to say that any more. So I am gonna kid you now while I can.
BTW Anthem, I saw the Moderator Dude commented about you when talking about the T 7s which Bro Santhosh enjoys so much. He mentioned people who like "Smooth Jazz". I reckon he was talking about you, I can't imagine there is anybody else he could be referring to.
I know you will get back at me, go ahead, bring it on, I can take it as well as dish it out.
Seriously, enjoy the tunes guys!!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne
