Happy Thanksgiving Day to all you wild men that love your music through awesome GoldenEar Speakers!!!!!
We do indeed have a LOT to be thankful for!!!!!
Sitting here tonight in peace, with lovely weather, only a ceiling fan to keep us cool enough. We caught some fish from the pond for dinner tomorrow, picked some okra from the garden, and a lime off the tree for the fish, we have rice we grew and eggs the ducks laid. We are blessed with enough for a great meal, though I just might have to rustle up a little Tex-Mex grub on the side, just to make it an American holiday.
Brothers Anthem, Santhosh, MOBrien, Moderator Dude and all, I am thankful for buds to discuss musical enjoyment with, and I also want to wish you all the best of God's richest blessings on this special day--one of which is a thankful/grateful heart.
God Bless,
Wayne
God bless the child that's got his own.

Just got through listening to:

Yellowjackets / Run for your Life (1994 GRP)

Legendary music from a phenomenal group... bravo...bravo.
I do believe Thelma Lou's strong suit is the piano, she delievers oodles of clarity and detail.
D-Sonic m3a-600m Mono > McIntosh MC152 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Oppo UDP205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference > Isoacoustics Gaia 2 > Canare 4S11 Speaker Cables > Audience Forte 3, Anticable L3 & Shunyata Venom PC's

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

It's Black Friday...listening to Ottmar strum his guitar

Ottmar Liebert / Luna Negra - Opium (1996 Sony)

I'm addicted to disc 1...beautiful music. The song Ocean blod./Miami gives me goosebumps.

Just finished another session with "the little drummer boy".

Dave Weckl Band / Multiplicity (2005 Stretch)

A simply splendid CD which I believe is his best. What it is, Mixed bag and Down on the corner...my favorites.
Weckl at once expands and further refines his signature Dave Weckl Band sound, distilling a kaleidoscope multitude of influences---including jazz, funk, rock, Latin, and world music ---into one wallop-packing recording. AMEN

Starting off the first week of December with:

Yellowjackets / Twenty Five (2006 Heads Up)

Superb live CD with an included DVD..all in one package. Haven't watched the DVD but hope to soon.
The song Jacketown is one of my favorites... 10:49 minutes of sheer ear candy.
