Perhaps, but guys like Robin Trower,Frank Marino,SRV,are all either dead or semi retired.

I find it refreshing to hear a kid from England play blues rock and with such passion and talent....

I just hope he doesnt sell out and become an opening act for Kayne West

Monsterzero,

I agree on all counts. We need more talented musicians and bands playing their own music and less entertainers/artists performing somebody else's efforts. I liked the Pride and Glory album from Zakk, but the metal is just not for me. I can definitely see the Ozzy influence. Thanks for posting a variety of his works. He certainly has some range.

Cheers,

Early morning musings with a sugar free Monster in lieu of coffee. This is my second album by World Saxophone Quartet. Performances are great, as is the sound quality, but I still find myself missing drums and a bass. This is a very relaxing recording. Good stuff!

Anthem, thanks for the reference on this one. I did a quick search on Rosewood thinking it sounded like 70s smooth jazz and apparently it was the Jazz Album of the Year in 1977. I guess I'm still having a difficult time classifying where a particular recording falls within the jazz spectrum. This one was a little too 1970s for me, but I have no doubt it's a great album. Let us know how the SQ turns out. I may have to demo a few more tracks.

Cheers,

T Cobe

This is the next album off my wishlist. Even online this recording sounds great and since it's a Chesky Records release, I'm confident it will deliver.

Cheers,
