Pbgalvin,

My library is small at this point so I listen to CDs more frequently. Lately, I've been putting my money into other areas like gear, movies, CDs, and games. I go to my local music store about once a month and pick up a new record or two, but their selection is not the best. I have yet to purchase records on-line but I have been building a wish list at Music Direct. I try to listen to a record each weekend, but my time to just sit and listen to music is limited. So maybe 30 to 60 minutes a week.

The turntable and phono stage look good. I'm guessing that upgrading your cartridge would pay dividends. An Ortofon 2M Red or Blue may be a good upgrade. I have also found that analog audio cables make a significant difference. For the money, Blue Jeans Cables makes some great quality RCAs. This may be another worthy consideration.
