Since I started this streaming discussion on this thread... I've had the Wyred 4 Sound Remedy Reclocker installed for a couple days now, between the Sonos Connect and the AVR/DAC. Digital feed, as before . (I also use a Sonos Bridge to dedicate a channel to Sonos streaming.)

For anything streamed from Deezer, SQ got some smoother, more detailed. For MP3 feeds streamed from Apple Music etc., same effect. Right out of the box. Don't know if further break-in will add to the effect. So far, it's the real deal. Takes the glare/edge off anything that had an edge before. Not everything did.

Haven't tried anything yet from my library, burned to my laptop from my CD collection, in Apple lossless. I don't expect much change here, since the SQ was already pretty much equal to playing those same CD's through the OPPO 105D. I'll report later if I hear anything different.

I like the term they've used for this device: Remedy, since it really does clean up less than perfect feeds. Sample rate is 96k, upsampled from 44.1k Sonos feeds.

I'm impressed. It's staying in my system.

Hey Anthem,
I think I got my jazz taste by what LPs my folks had.
Mostly Miles and Brubeck. They only had a few but more interesting to me than the tons of classical LPs they had.
So no, don't know much Mingus but catching up from recommendations here.
Thanks for all the good ones and looking forward to more good jazz...
