An orchestral version that sounds similar to Queens's Bohemian Rhapsody version..

Sweet, pensive, the viola pieces so rich. I'd love to hear in GEt surround....

Don't know if there is a recording/disc of this available anywhere.

Once again the Anti-Cable is the star of the show. I shake my head in amazement.

Gorgeous, Anthem! Even listening on a desktop sound system.

Are you feeding analog out from the OPPO?

You may yet convince me to try more of the eclectic music you listen to. It seems you love to hear musical instruments "strut their stuff" in front of you. So do I. My issue with musical styles like jazz is is it doesn't seem to have any direction, it just seems to wander around, and my mind can do that on it's own, without any help from jazz!!

Keep enticing us with the huge assortment of music you have at your disposal!

Well Rick, it's been almost one year...is your mind still wondering?
This cd gets hidden amongst others, and to tell you the truth I forgot about it.
Tonight I've given it another spin and I still like it.

T Cobe: You mentioned "The List"...I've seen it before, but as you know, things get garbled and I can't remember where I copied it to. If you have it, would you be a "Sweetie" and post it for us boys...Thanks in advance.

Anthem,

I've gon back to look for the list and can't find it anywhere. Maybe Moderator Dude could assist. I am pretty sure it was hidden somewhere on the GET website. Sorry...

Cheers,

Hey Anthem

I guess my mind will always wonder (wander?? ; ) about what music attracts me and why. It's true for me for all genres. I do find that some jazz "works" for me, like some C+W, some classical, some pop, some rock n'roll, etc., and some of all the above doesn't. I still like to generate playlists that cross the music types, and enjoy the variety. I do find jazz tracks I like thanks to your, T Cobe's and other's posts, so my jazz favorites list has grown a LOT thanks to this thread.

Keep 'em coming!

Rick

Not sure where best to post this: has anyone tried the Nobsound 6J9 tube integrated headphone amp that got great reviews in Sound and Vision (Amazon, $50)?

That seems a pretty economical way to try TOOB sounds for headphones!

I'm thinking for that price I just ought to get one...

A double bass rendition of Lorde's Royals.

Neat. You can see the strings vibrate in the video. Would love to hear what the Triton subs or any GEt bass would do with this.
