Anthem & Rick,

I finally broke down and ordered a level 3 power cord from Anticable. Based on your experience, should I try it on my Oppo/ERC-3 CD player first to notice the most significant difference? Sounds like it may be a week or two before it arrives. I'm looking forward to hearing what all the fuss is about. ;)

Cheers,

T Cobe

T Cobe: Welcome to the Anti-Cable Club. I think you've made a wise investment, something that will give you much joy for years to come.
When I received my first AC Reference 3 PC, I was auditioning an Shunyata Digital PC ($395). I liked the Shunyata quite a bit, but when I heard the AC for the first time (only took 5 minutes) I was blown away. I would not have any other PC on my source components. I hope you have the same satisfying results I've had.

The AntiCable Reference 3 seems to work best on source components.
So yes, start with your Oppo 103 and then the Emotiva cd player.
Good luck...Keep in touch.

Hey, T Cobe

I'll be a little slow seeing and responding to posts for awhile. BTW, I think it's great you are trying the Reference 3 Anti-Cable! They literally transformed my sources. As usual, Anthem has given great advice. Try sources first.

When I get back to TX, I'll be trying adding them to the NAD amp (it has a Pangea 14 now) and perhaps other Triton amps.
All I know is that whatever the Anti-Cables connect to, the SQ just gets cleaner, deeper, more natural, less veiled...

Good luck and let us know how it works out for you!

Roman- A few more amazing shots! Are those edited or just the raw image. Oregon really has some beautiful landscapes! Thanks for posting and please keep them coming.

Anthem and Rick- I received a shipment notification that my Level 3 power cord is on the way. I should be listening to it by Sunday! Is any break in time required, or was the improvement immediately apparent? I'm looking forward to trying it out throughout my system to see where I notice the most significant gains.

Cheers,

T Cobe
