I have this album and a few others arriving Friday. Listening on Amazon Prime tonight. Can't wait for the CD.

Eiffel62, getting your equipment set first is definitely the way to go. Monoprice XLRs are absolutely great for the money and would be all the cable you would need for quite some time: maybe ever. If you haven't tried them, I'd suggest spending 20-30 dollars and trying a few in your system.

If you get a chance to add GEt 2+'s, and have them join your T1's and SCXXL, you won't regret it. The music and completely seamless sound field they could make together is just amazing. I have a T1/T2/SCXXL combo and absolutely love it. The HT audio experience alone beats anything I hear at theaters. The 2+'s would be even a step further.

If/when you do that, I'd love to get your before and after impressions of what it did for your listening enjoyment.

I've been listening to all the recent "Currently Playing" posts with the Sony/Dragonfly headphone combo. The music really comes alive! Dynamic, great sound field, everything just "pops". Yes, Anthem, Snake oil surfer sounds glorious. So does everything else posted. The bass in T Cobe's post of Sing Sing Sing is awesome, the acoustic guitars and voices in Roman's Roar/Brave post so clean and pure, ....everything sounds so much better.

The camera adapter arrived yesterday that lets me play from my iphone. Same great SQ playing from that device. So easy to switch back and forth.

CAUTION : HOT STUFF

Another fantastic endeavor from the piano man. Another Long Night Out is the standout album of his career. Every song is highly listenable, and not a dud in the bunch.

Lately, music has sounded extra special. I don't know if it's the new Mullards, or the Anti-Cable Reference 3 powercords, or both. At this point I don't want to know, and will keep things just the way they are for the reminder of the month.

T Cobe: listened to your Stan Getz track, and can hear the Proverbial Saxophone Razz. I hope it's presence is extremely limited. If it's on the majority of tracks, that gets Annoying.
