Yes, Anthem, maybe BUSY and excited would be a good description. There's a LOT of organizing, changing services, packing involved. I've spent the day going through my "to do" list. But it's worth it.

Keep the postings of what you're playing coming! I can still sample the songs by streaming, in NH, and make lists of what I want to play on the GEt's when I get back.

I'll be checking all summer for posts...

Sonny Meets Hawk / All the Things You Are

Great piece of music, just wish it was recorded a little better.

Rick (Mr. BUSY & EXCITED) posting this to push yours through. I've never been to NH. Once there, post a few pictures and show us the scenery.

Hi, T Cobe

Finally got to NH this afternoon (left at 2:30 AM for flight)... usual stuff.. smoke detectors chirping, cable and phone not working... got to grocery store to replenish supplies and credit card was declined ("suspicious purchases" earlier that proved to be ours). Oh, well, I'm here!

My wife LOVES Stevie Wonder! We talked on the phone after I got things set up here (she's coming here 6/7)... I had left "the GEt system" in TX unplugged due to the forecast for multiple lightening/thunderstorms. She said "I really want to listen to my songs on that system". So, I walked her through plugging everything in again, and then how to get her playlist on SONOS streaming., and heard a Stevie Wonder song over the phone as I hung up. She was happy! WAF score!

How would I describe my wife's music tastes?? I guess "bouncy", "lively". (She's a dancer!) I wouldn't say she is an audiophile, but she sure can hear and appreciate "good stuff". We've also had so many guests here, who say "Wow, those speakers", and I frankly haven't "blasted" anything when guests are here (though I do have a neighbor who just loves to bring CD's over now and then to hear what they "should" sound like at robust volumes). I've said before, great at any volume.

Since we've had the GEt system,, she has commented so many times at theaters, concerts, movies, "your system sounds better!" Well, I agree with her.

Happy listening!

Rick

Rick,

Glad you made it safely to the Summer home with minimal issues or surprises. At least your credit card company is looking out for you. Good you travel ahead of your Wife and deal with the turbulence of the transition to make it smooth for her. Sounds like you have a few days to work out the bugs and figure out what you're going to do about music this Summer...

Bouncy and lively go well with Stevie Wonder. It's great to share our labor of love with others. We had company over this weekend and watched Deadpool together. It was a good time and our friends really loved the experience (and sound). My Wife really enjoyed the action sequences and the LFE on this one.

Cheers,

T Cobe

Hi, T Cobe

I brought some Blu-ray movies to NH. including this one, and yes, it does sound great on GEt speakers. Once again I feel like your "me too" guy. Deadpool is a great movie, as you already said ,and we will play it again here on less robust sound systems.
